Won his 400th career game in 2007 and is getting closer to his coverted 500th career victory........Many of his former players have gone on to sign professional baseball contracts.......Was co-captain of 1974 Medford High School Greater Boston League Championship team...... ...Inducted into Medford High School Mustang Hall of Fame with a 12-0 pitching record and went on to graduate from Boston College......

2001......Was an outstanding power hitter during his Intercity League playing
career.... Delivered several clutch hits for the Chiefs as a player in the late
1990's.......Hit six career homers for the Chiefs to go along with 54 hits and
39 RBI's......Played for the strong Medford High School teams of the early
1990's........Recently named as manager of the Boston Typos who play in the
week long Union Printers Tournament in Florida each summer...

Longtime Arlington Catholic coach rejoined Chiefs staff for the 2011 season.....Also served as an assistant coach in the college ranks, as a member of the M.I.T. staff, under the legendary Fran O'Brien, from 1977-1993......Coach Cal was a member of the Chiefs' staff from 1989-1995 and won three Intercity League Championships over that time frame.....Is a native of Medford, MA and currently resides in Stoneham, MA....
