WELCOME TO THE ANACORTES YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER WEB SITE
The Anacortes Youth Football and Cheer League is a non-profit organization that provides children in the Anacortes community an opportunity to become part of an organized tackle football or cheerleading team. The league is part of the North Cascade Youth Football League, which serves 16 cities and nearly 3000 kids from Everett to Lynden. Our goals are -

Pee Wee Division Added to Anacortes
PW Boy
We are excited to announce the addition of a Pee Wee Division team to our league for the 2006 season. This division was created 4 years ago to allow children 6, 7 and 8 years old an opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of tackle football while participating with other children of the same age and size. The Pee Wee Division uses the same rule structure as the Midget Division with the exception of a few rules that allow the children to learn the core of the game without being exposed to the higher intensity found in upper divisions.

Registration day had a great turnout with over 23 Pee Wee's signing up for the team. The team will play an 8 game schedule in a conference of over 10 teams from Everett to Concrete.

League Divisions
The Anacortes Youth Football and Cheer League fields teams in the following division groups:

Pee Wee - Ages 6-8
Midget - Ages 9 and 10
Junior - Ages 11 and 12
Senior - Ages 13 and 14 (no High School Freshmen)

The league determines division assignment based on the age of the player on September 1st.
