Amherst Softball
Welcome to the Amherst Recreational Babe Ruth Softball website.
All leagues play by Babe Ruth softball rules with some modified home rules to promote sportmanship and minimum play.
Soft Toss and Instructional/Rookie League: Coaches pitch to players with parents getting involved. All Other Leagues, are Fast-Pitch with games against surrounding Souhegan Valley towns: Bedford, Brookline, Hollis, Milford, and Wilton.
Amherst Babe Ruth Softball is made up of four leagues:
1) Soft Toss Softball (New) (5-6)
2) Instructional/Rookie (7-9) (4 teams - 10 player limit)
3) Minors (12U) (9-12) (3 Teams)
4) Majors (12U) (9-12) (1 Teams)
5) Juniors (16U) (13-16) (1 Team)
