The American Soccer Club
The American Soccer Club

The American Soccer Club of Hamilton, Ohio and the Kolping Soccer Club of northwest Ohio merged and are members of the CUSL league (Cincinnat United Soccer League). Fields are located on Forest Lake Lane in Joyce Park and on Mill Road at the Kolping Society Complex. Our purpose is to provide players with an environment where they can develop a love of the game and prepare them for participation at the High School and College levels.

OFFICIAL NEWS - CUSL LEAGUE ACCEPTANCE

The KASC (Kolping American Soccer Club) has been accepted into the CUSL league and will begin play in the new league in the Fall 2007.

CLUB MERGER

We are pleased to announce that the American Soccer Club and Kolping Soccer Club have merged to one club. The new club name is KASC (Kolping American Soccer Club). The clubs will continue to use both facilities for practices and games. Both the Director of Coaching and Director of Training are working around the clock to prepare the club merge for the Fall 2007 season. Further details regarding the merge will be announced soon. $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT ANNOUNCED

The American Soccer Club awarded the 2007 scholarship award of $1,000 to Bruce Fox, Jr., a 2007 graduate from Fairfield High School. Bruce played 4 years of soccer at Fairfield whereby he helped lead the school to the state finals last November. Bruce has been involved with the American Soccer Club (formerly Big Blue) for the past 6 years. Bruce assisted the club by working at the club tournaments, performed field maintenance and helped work with the youth in the club. Bruce has played for the club the past 4 seasons. He is also very active in the Young Life Christian Program.   

Bruce was recruited by Geneva College, a christian college in Beaver Falls, PA to play soccer this Fall. Geneva also presented Bruce with a scholarship award.

ASC BLACKHAWKS WIN 1ST PLACE U13 BOYS DIVISION

Congratulations to the U13 Boys team for winning 1st place of the Premier division. The team is coached by John Tassos and Angie Weiss.

ASC CREW WINS TROY FESTIVAL TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to the ASC Crew Boys team for being champions of the Troy Strawberry Festival tournament in Troy, Ohio. The Crew defeated North Fusion 3-0, defeated Pride SC 4-3, and also defeated Brookville Devils 5-0. During the finals in overtime, the Crew then defeated Team Dayton 4-3.
