AMELIA LL SEEKING COACHES FOR SPRING 2010 SEASON

Want to help a child fulfill his dreams?  Want to have a very good feeling about contributing to the growth of a child?  Think you've got what it takes to help kids learn the game of baseball?  If you answered yes to these questions Amelia LL needs you.  The league is looking for coaches (head and assistant) for the upcoming spring 2010 baseball season.  We need coaches in all divisions from T-ball (5 & 6 year old) through major league (11 & 12 year old).  If you're interested (and we hope you are) please send a note to one of the following people outlining your experience and/or qualifications and some information about yourself. ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING FOR BEAUMONT BASEBALL (13-18 years old)

BEAUMONT BASEBALL ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
There will be an organizational meeting for Beaumont Baseball for the 2009-2010 season.  This meeting is open to anyone interested in the welfare of the league.  It will be held on TUESDAY, DEC. 1, 2009, at 6PM AT THE JR/SR/BIG LEAGUE CONCESSIONS STAND.  The purpose of the meeting is to nominate and vote on the new administrators of the league.  The positions needed to be filled are: Administrator, Player Agent, Treasurer (there is an incumbent), Umpire-in-Chief, Field Maintenance Coordinator, and Secretary.  Please plan to attend and support the league.

DECEMBER BOARD MEETING

There will be a Board meeting on Tuesday, December 8 at 7 PM, in the Vincent MS cafeteria or Library (won't know for sure until we get there).  Anyone interested in the welfare of Amelia LL is invited to attend.  There is still one open position on the Board for the 2009-2010 year.  The league could really use your help.

SPRING REGISTRATION DATES SET

It's not too early to start thinking about playing ball next spring.   Mark your calendars and plan to register your child/children for a fun-filled learning experience playing baseball or girls softball.  Please do not let the cost to register deter you from registering; the league may be able to help.  We also offer discounts for first-time T-ball players and families with more than one player.  Here are the dates and locations.

Field Maintenance Clinic- Nov 09

The field maintenance clinic that was supposed to be held on Nov. 9 will not take place.  DiamondPro has confirmed that they plan no such clinic in our area.  Apparently the information the league received earlier was sent in error.
