Alpine Girls Softball Association: New to AGSA

New to Alpine Girls Softball??? AGSA has been a part of the Alpine community for over 30 years. Starting as a Bobbysox league and switching to ASA for the 2001 season Alpine has produced many great players, including many of which that have starred at Granite Hills and Steele Canyon High Schools as well as colleges around the country. While trying to help the progression of the serious softball player we haven't lost our primary focus - that of having fun playing softball and providing a sport for all players regardless of skill. I personally find the most rewarding part of coaching is seeing a new player get their 1st hit or 1st catch and watching the player's eyes light up with excitement! AGSA regularly has 250 girls ranging from 4 1/2 to 16 years old of all abilities and abides by a few simple rules:
