Important Dates

  • Majors Playoffs: June 2 - 16
  • City Championship Games: June 22

All-Stars
For those interested in post-season all-star play, the obligation dates are as follows:

  • Super Bowl: June 23 to June 26
  • District 52 All-Star Tournaments: June 29 through July 15
  • Teams are announced June 15 and can begin practicing the next day.
  • The Super Bowl Tournament, majors and minors, is a single-elimination tournament running June 23 through June 26. It's a 10-day obligation.
  • District competition, for players in the majors divisions, begins June 29 and runs through July 15. Daily practices are the norm, beginning June 16.

New Bat Rules
Little League recently made an announcement about new bat regulations. Visit the Little League website to read the full announcement. The league provides a full list of approved and licensed composite bats on the site.

Alpine / West Menlo Little League has served the families of Menlo Park, Woodside, and Portola Valley for more than a half-century. Our mission is to be an outstanding community organization thatcreates a culture where kids of all abilities love playing the game of baseball. Essential to thatculture is a commitment from all involved (players, coaches, parents, board members, officials,and fans) to cherish and respect the special role that youth sports play in the development of our children. To help players develop baseball skills and a greater understanding of the game,

To instill a respect for the traditions of the game and all who are involved,

To teach the value of individual responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship,

To foster an environment of healthy athletic competition.

We honor the true definition of competition by seeking to inspire and enable our kids to achieve excellence in the sport of baseball and in life - to improve each day, to encourage teammates andfellow competitors to do the same and to enjoy the camaraderie that comes from the pursuit ofcommon goals and the achievement of athletic excellence.
