IMPORTANT information for you to prepare for the spring season. Please read below for new bat regulations, important dates, Spring break scheduling, All-star obligations and the need for volunteers.
New Bat Rules
Little League recently made an announcement about new bat regulations. Visit the Little League website to read the full announcement. The league provides a full list of approved and licensed composite bats on the site.
Important Dates
Majors Draft: Tuesday, Feb. 7
AAA Minors Draft: Thursday, Feb. 9
Practices begin: Feb. 11
Opening Day: March 17
Memorial Day Wood Bat tournament: May 26-28
Playoff finals: June 16
City Championship games: June 22

We are looking for volunteers for key positions, including field supervisors, publicity, managers and coaches at the majors, minors, coach-pitch and t-ball levels. If you have questions about the positions or want to help, email alpinelittleleague@gmail.com
Spring Break Scheduling The schools we serve have three different spring breaks this season. The League will take one week off, the week of April 7 through 13. There will be games scheduled in the preceding and following weeks.
All-Stars
For those interested in post-season all-star play, the obligation dates are as follows:
Super Bowl: June 23 to June 26
District 52 All-Star Tournaments: June 29 through July 15
Teams are announced June 15 and can begin practicing the next day.
The Super Bowl Tournament, majors and minors, is a single-elimination tournament running June 23 through June 26. It's a 10-day obligation.
District competition, for players in the majors divisions, begins June 29 and runs through July 15. Daily practices are the norm, beginning June 16.
