Varsity Girls Head Coach Rebecca Parker

Coach Parker made her way to Alpharetta originally from Foley, Alabama. She started playing soccer at 4 years old, and has played basketball, cross country, and track. She played for her high school team, as well as, club soccer for Pensacola Samba and earned a scholarship to the University of Alabama where she was a member of the women’s soccer team from 2000 to 2005. She served as team captain for 2 years and won various athletic and academic awards including Academic All-SEC three times.

After gradating in 2005, she moved to the Atlanta area and spent 2 years as the JV coach at Sequoyah High School before becoming the head coach here at Alpharetta in 2007. Coach Parker also holds several USSF and NSCAA coaching licenses. In addition to coaching, she works in the social studies department and teaches AP Psychology. She is married to Michael Parker, also a Foley, Alabama native. Michael the Defensive Coordinator for the Chapel Hill Panthers Football team in Douglasville, GA and teaches U.S. History.

Coach Emily Reiser - Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Reiser is from Erie, Pennsylvania where she earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education at Mercyhurst College. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, with her major was in English and her minor was in Fine Arts. She also played Division I Fastpitch Softball as a shortstop and also club soccer as their goalie during her time at St. Joseph’s.
Coach Reiser moved to Alpharetta, GA in 2005, and has taught at Alpharetta High School for the last 4 years.  She is currently a Special Education CBI teacher.  Coach Reiser has served as the Girls Varsity Assistant Soccer coach for those 4 years and is also the Head Varsity Softball coach at Alpharetta.

Melody Rogers - Asst. Varisty Coach
Melody Rogers
Melody Rogers is entering her second year of coaching at Alpharetta High School. She is originally from Orlando, Fl and moved to Atlanta a year and half ago. While in high school, she played for her school as well as a club team. She got a scholarship to Palm Beach Atlanta University in West Palm Beach, FL where she attended. She was the captain of her soccer team for 2 years and had many opportunities to play soccer in different countries. She graduated cum laude from PBA in 2006 with a degree in Psychology. After graduation she joined staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, more specifically Student Venture. She was placed in Atlanta, GA to work with high school students helping them navigate their way through high school. She spends her day with high school students answering question about life and God!!
