Georgia Dugout Club 2008 All Tournament Team

On Saturday, April 26, the Georgia Dugout Club had a breakfast honoring the winners of the Georgia Dugout Club Baseball Tournament. Alpharetta High School won the Lou Gehrig Division by going 4 wins with 0 losses, and outscoring their opponents 37 to 5 in the four games. Voted on the "All Tournament Team" were four AHS players (Seniors: Colin Snow & JC Cook; Juniors: Tommy Butler and Austin Marr).

The middle infield combination of Tommy Butler (SS) and Austin Marr (2B), both Juniors, turned 5 double plays and fielded 35 chances without making an error.  Austin Marr hit .667 going 8 for 12 while scoring 8 runs and having 2 RBI's. Tommy Butler hit .500 (6 for 12, including 3 doubles) with 3 runs and 4 RBI's.

Colin Snow pitched 5 innings of no hit baseball giving up no earned runs and also hit .500 (5 for 10) with a HR and 3 RBI's. JC Cook hit .538 going 7 for 13, including 3 doubles and had 8 RBI's.

Tommy Butler, Colin Snow and JC Cook were on the All Tournament Team in 2007 also for Alpharetta High School when they won last year also.
