JV Ends Season With A Bang - Beat Sprayberry 14-4

The JV ended the season in spectacular fashion as they run-ruled Sprayberry 14-4 in five innings.  Merrik Metcalf was the hitting star with a homerun off the scoreboard, a double, and three RBIs - all in the first inning.  The hit parade included a triple by Gavin Topp, a double and single by Trevor Jensen, a double by Taylor Hall, and singles by Vince Adams, Cody Carpenter, Bryan Herrick, Brandon Melick, Kenneth Reynolds, Alexander Ross, and Patrick Seebohm.

Parker Ramsey earned the win, and while the lead was too large to qualify for an official save, Patrick Seebohm, in his first appearance of the season, needed only four pitches to get through the fourth inning.

Congratulations to all the players.  AHS has a bright baseball future with these talented individuals.

JV Loses First Game Of Season At Lassiter

The bus was late, the bats were cold, and the JV never seemed to quite get on track for this one as they lost 7-1 versus the Trojans.

Vince Adams, Parker Ramsey, and Jared Welch had the only hits for the Raiders.  The lone run came in the seventh inning when Cody Carpenter scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Christian Sutherland.
