Almaden Little League Division Updates
T-Ball/Coach-Toss: Teams have been formed. Games will begin in March (on each Saturday) with a practice day sometime during the week. Games will continue into late-May/early-June. Registration for this division is closed.
Single-A: Teams are formed and we are looking for more managers to step up. The first games will be during the first week of March and complete by the end of May. Registration for this division is closed.
Double-A: Teams will be formed in February and parents contacted by February 15th. Practices will start the weekend of February 20th. Games will begin mid-March and will complete the first weekend in June. Registration for this division is closed.
Majors and AAA: The draft occurred (i.e. teams formed) during the last week of January. If your player tried out and made Majors/AAA, then you should have already been contacted. Otherwise, your player is assigned to a Double-A team. Majors/AAA games will begin early March and will go until the end of May. Play-offs will begin the middle of May with the TOC going through early June. Registration for this division is closed.
Juniors: Registrations are still being taken. Contact Bruce Jensen (640-8316 or Click on "Board of Directors") for more details. Try-outs occurred in the first half of February and teams will be formed by the end of February. Games will begin in March and go through May.
Seniors: Sign-ups will be taken through mid-May when the High School season is over. The season will begin mid-May and run about 4-5 weeks (3 games per week). Contact Bruce Jensen (640-8316 or Click on "Board of Directors") for more details.
Be Your Team's Web-Page Admin -- It's Easy!
Each team in Almaden can have one or more web-page administrators. Eteamz makes it easy so that you don't have to know JAVA or HTML to make a cool looking web-site, including updating your team's scores. Eteamz provides a simple walk-through tutorial (click HERE to view) to assist admins. You can also click on the link to the left ("Team Admins Get started HERE").
It's easy to upload photos and documents, to add events to your team's calendar, to post team messages and more. If you are interested, please let your team manager know. If you have any questions, click on the "webmaster" link to the left and forward them on.

Leland Baseball Camp 2010
There are two baseball camps scheduled for the upcoming season: February 16-18 from 9am-12noon and April 13-15 from 9am-12noon. The camps are open to all players ages 5-13 and will take place at the Leland High School baseball field.
There were lots of players who signed up for the spring break camp last year and the kids had a great time! The camp covers all fundamental areas of baseball, including hitting, pitching, defensive (infield/outfield) play, baserunning, and much more.
The cost of the camp is $150 and checks are made payable to Leland head coach Mike Sparrer. Click HERE to view the registration form. Almaden Little League Commemorative Bricks
A great way to be a sponsor for Almaden Little League is to purchase a commemorative brick to be mounted at our Major's field. When purchasing a commemorative brick, you get to add text to the brick to create a long lasting memory. You can add players' names, coaches' names, team names, company names, etc.
There are two sizes for the bricks - a medium (individual's) version and a large (Sponsor's) version (see photo to the right). For the individual brick order form, please click HERE. If you are interested in the larger, sponsor's brick order form, please click HERE.
Checks should be made to "Almaden Little League" and both check and form should be sent to Debbie Osborn at 1368 Via Del Los Grande, San Jose, CA 95120.
