All Star Running: Half Marathon Training

When you sign up for the training program you will be provided the following tools to achieving your goal, finishing a 13.1 miles course through the greatest beach city in the world:
· 14 week Detailed Training Schedule - Each weekly schedule includes a full description of each weekly workout.
· Beginner and Intermediate programs
· Running and Run/Walk Pace Groups
· Personal guidance from RRCA and USATF Certified Coach Carla Jaramillo
· Fitness Evaluation
· Nutrition planning
· Weekly coach led runs Saturday Morning 7 am, Tuesday and Thursday 6 pm
· Weekly Tuesday Speed work sessions
· Exact Training Paces for Your Goal Finishing Time - No more guessing or trying to calculate your training pace. You will be provided your pacing for Long runs along with speedwork.
· Strength Training Recommendations - Strength training is a critical part of competitive and race training. You will be provided workout for general strength training, running specific strength training and plyometrics.
· Warm Up Drills and Cool Down Stretching - Every coach led session will include the all important warm up and cool down exercises. .
· Race Strategy - It's not enough to train properly for your race, you also need to do a good job of managing your race. You get instruction on race strategy for your experience level and goal.
