We are committed to assisting baseball players who desire to take their game to the next level, whether their goals include junior college, NCAA Division I or professional baseball. We pride ourselves in the individual attention of each child. Our personalized nature allows students to develop critical, meaningful and on going communication with colleges and their coaches throughout their association with us. We expect students to have a commitment to their own development. Upon completion of the Academy programs, our student-athletes will be prepared to grow and face the challenges that await them.

A.S.B.A. Is the place to be to be able to play at the next level, 100% of our scout team players have had offers to play at the college or pro levels for the last six years. Our players have never paid a fee for recuiting services.

JOHN Finn is now coaching for A.S.B.A. and is doing Batting lessons 

"Success is a choice" This is the phrase that John Finn lives by. He knows from his own experience and hard work that your success is a choice you have to make and work hard at. It doesn't just happen. After being a 4 year Varsity Letterman in high school John atteneded Arizona State University (a Division 1 school) where he was a 4 year starter, was team MVP and lead the team to two College World Weries appearances. Drafted by the Milwakee Brewers John started his professional career in 1989. All this success didn't just happen, John made it happen and that is what he installs in the minds of his players. All Star Baseball Academy has been a huge part of my life.  I have been playing for ASBA since I was 12 years old and I would not be where I am today without this organization and the fine men who are a part of it.  Frank Tunnel has been the one consistent coach, mentor, and friend that I have had throughout my baseball career.  He has had an unparallel impact on my growth as a baseball player as well as my growth as a man. He has been my biggest fan, my hardest critique, and my unwavering ally.  I will also always be very thankful for Donny Young and all the time he spent coaching me. Most of my life long friends have been made through ASBA and although I will miss them I will look forward to watching their baseball careers as they play in various universities all over the country.  Coach Freitas has built an organization that focuses on the development of young baseball players.  He cares more for the individual player and their personal growth then the win/loss record of his club.  He does not view young men as a means to be exploited for the success of his club.  As a multiple sport player, coach Freitas has always encouraged me to play multiple sports and to strive for success in everything I do, including the classroom.  As an educator, Coach Freitas understands the value of a strong education and always places the priority in the classroom. This year I will be attending Stanford University.  I have a full scholarship for football and I will also be playing for Stanford’s baseball team.  I have been recruited by various professional scouts for the MLB draft, but have decided that Stanford is the best place for me.  I can confidently say that none of this would be possible without ASBA and the amazing men who have been a part of my life.           Thank You ASBA,

 ASBA- Finn took home the hardware in the 15U Ken Griffey, Jr. age group, and will compete next week in the Ken Griffey, Jr. World Series in Surprise. They defeated the Phoenix Cardinals in the championship game. The team is coached by John Finn.

All Star Baseball Academy 16U team, coached by Mark Lebrun,, captured the 2012 AABA Mickey Mantle State Championship over the weekend. The team is en route to West Covina, CA to compete in the West regional Championship to try and earn a berth in the Mantle World Series.

ASBA defeated the Warriors baseball Academy in the championship game.

The 18u CONNIE MACK Team won the FOUR CORNERS TOURNAMENT.Congratulations to A.S.B.A. Black, A.S.B.A. White and A.S.B.A. Blue teams for all Qualifing for the Connie Mack State Tournament. A.S.B.A. Garnered 3 of 5 spots awarded to Phoenix teams.

The V.I.P. Throwing program has helped pitchers across the country gain an average of 6.7 MPH in just 12 short weeks!

THE V.I.P. Throwing program will start up August 21st. It is every Tuesday and Thursday in Glendale from 3:30- 5:30 pm.  The cost is $125 for the month. The location is Moon Valley High School - located at 35th Ave and Cactus.

Dear Coach Freitas,

    The leadership and instruction of Coach Jonn Freitas has been instrumental in both of our sons, Alex Sogard (OREGON STATE) and Eric Sogard (ARIZONA STATE) reaching their goals of playing DIVISION 1 BASEBALL. In addition the experiences traveling with the team has helped prepare them for that as well. Coach Freitas' positive yet low key nature is ideal to allow players to gradually improve their game without the negative high pressure which some others use. He has always treated my sons with respect and is a man of his word.

FALL  LEAGUE

Scout Teams - Juniors and SENIORS plays 20 Games against the junior colleges programs starting around Sept.1-Nov.30,they will also play in 2 major tournaments. The two tournaments will be the Arizona Fall Classic and the Perfect Game Nationals. In the last 10 years we have placed 100% of our Scout Team players into college programs. As always our players do not have to pay to be recruited. COST $ 575

SOPH and FRESHMAN TEAMS -  Will play in six to eight tournaments starting in September and will run into January. COST $750

SUMMER LEAGUE

Connie Mack 18u Team - plays in Connie Mack league and 3 major tournaments around the southwest. COST $ 1000

Don Mattingly 17u Team - plays in Connie Mack league and 3 major tournaments around the southwest. COST $ 1000

16U Junior Olympics Team - plays in U.S.A. Junior Olympics and Mickey Mantle league 3 major tournaments around the southwest. COST $ 1000

Mickey Mantle 15u Team - play Mickey Mantle league and 3 Major Tournaments around the southwest.  COST $ 1000

Sandy Koufax 14u Team - play in the Sandy Koufax league and 3 major tournament around the southwest. This year we are the host team for the A.A.B.C. WORLD SERIES. COST $ 1000
