89s Win San Angelo Competitive Cup
Temperatures in the 40s and mist / rain couldn't stop the 89s from taking the San Angelo United Competitive Cup. Despite playing in the U-17 division (that's a long way for the 91's), quality wins over the North Texas Strikers 89 and Fort Worth United 88s carried the team to the championship. Hustle and determination were again the trademark of the team. The parents toughed out the weather and the Chili's bill.
