Alley Cats: History

Alley Cats History
The Alley Cats began in 1998 as a 16u team and grew into one of the premier fastpitch teams in the state. From 1998 – 2002 the team competed and won State Titles, Qualifiers, InvitationalÂ’s, etc in NSA , ASA, USSSA , PONY & Dixie Debs. In 2003 the Thunder Cat Organization was built from the solid foundation that had been established by longtime Player & Coach, Donnie Moore. During that time to present Moore has helped over 100 young ladies fulfill their dreams to play at the College Level. His players have been or presently competing in   Div. I, Div. II, Div. III & JUCO ranks. Now the Alley Cat name and history is back on the field with a Women's Team. A very talented group of young women that still have a passion for the sport and the competition of tournament play. Some of the team is presently attending college while others have graduated. It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to have so many talented and mature young women represent the Alley Cat name. A 18u team has been added with a group of young ladies that are talented and willing to learn. They have seen much success and have proven to be solid College Prospects.
