Trenton Thunder tickets and vouchers will be available for pick up at the concesssion stand on the following dates/times:

• Friday, May 16 from 6 PM - closingSaturday
• May 17 from 9 AM - 4:30 PM.

Any tickets not claimed by 4:30 PM on Saturday will be left at the Will Call window at Waterfront Park. There will be a VERY limited number of extra tickets available at the concession stand during the pick up times for $10 each. Once sold out, additional tickets can be obtained from the Trenton Thunder box office based on availability.

On Saturday April 15, 2008, AUFLL participated in the league’s first installment of the Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, & Run competition.  A total of  85 players (boys and girls) from the Allentown / Upper Freehold Little League participated in the competition.  Each player had the opportunity to pitch for accuracy, hit for distance, and run against the clock.  Champions were crowned in the 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14 age groups, with each player advancing to the Sectional competition, which will be held during the month of May.  Winners at the Sectional level advance to Team Championships, with the top performers advancing to the championship round at Yankee Stadium during the All-Star Game in July. 

The winners were as follows:

7/8 year old

Pitching – tie between Spencer Caruso of Wrightstown and Brian Eider of Allentown

Hitting – Brandon Gaul of Allentown

Running – Austin Ferrier of Cream Ridge

Overall winner – Austin Ferrier of Cream Ridge

9/10 year old

Pitching – tie between Michael Polcari and Gunnar Szul, both of Allentown

Hitting – Hal Shaw of Allentown

Allentown / Upper Freehold Little League will host a free Aquafina® Major League Baseball® Pitch, Hit & Run™ Competition for area youth.

Date: April 12, 2008       Time: 8:15 AM  Location: Upper Freehold Regional Elementary/Middle School fields 

 Pitch, Hit & Run™ is the Official Skills Competition of Major League Baseball®. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball skills.  Competitors are divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the 2008 MLB™ All-Star Game®. 

 Age is determined as of July 17, 2008.  Boys and girls compete together. The individual Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions, along with the All-Around Champion in each age group at the Local Competition will be awarded and advance to the Sectional Level of Competition.  All participants must fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition. Forms will be provided to the managers for distribution.  Please fill the forms out in advance to save time at the event.  If you do not have a birth certificate on file with AUFLL, a copy must be provided at registration.  Those ages 13 and 14 who wish to participate may fill out a registration form at the event and must provide a copy of their birth certificate.  This will be coordinated with team picture times.  Further details will be forthcoming.
