THE ALLEGRO ELITE TEAM Allegro Elite began in summer, 2003 because so many former Allegro dancers who had graduated from high school and therefore no longer eligible for the Varsity All*Star Team wanted to dance and be a part of the Allegro Program. Many of the girls on our Elite Team also dance for their college teams, teach studio dance, coach, or teach for dance organizations. The Elite Team performs in summer at local events along with the other Allegro teams and competes at the Summerfest Dance Competition in July. The team may continue competing through the school year if it's members wish to keep going. It is not only a "competitive" team but also a REUNION team for former squad members/instructors and girls associated in some way with Allegro. It is for FUN and rekindling old friendships! This is strictly a post-high school team.
