For only the fourth time in 67 seasons, the Albion Tigers will take the field in 2012 as defending champions of the Home Talent League's Southeast Section.  The 29-game slate starts on April 14 when Southeast rival Jefferson and 2011 Western Section champion Dodgeville join the Tigers for a full day of exhibition baseball in Albion.  The Tigers will then open defense of their Southeast title on May 6 in Lake Mills, one week before the home opener against Deerfield on Mother's Day.  The schedule (which can be found under "schedule" at left) also features:

- A Memorial Day home date with the Whitewater Swingers
- Back-to-back showdowns in Albion Park with old rivals Utica (July 22) and Stoughton (July 29).  Utica has won three Southeast titles in the past ten years, while Stoughton went 16-2 last year and fell to Albion in the Southeast final
- Two games at Edgerton's Racetrack Park - July 4 as part of the Edgerton Lions Club celebration and July 20 when the Tigers host the Lake Mills Grays during Tobacco Days
- Four 6pm games at Albion Park, including three Thursdays in a row June 14, 21, and 28
