2009 AFL Champions
Congratulations to the Edmonton Stallions who claimed their 2nd Alberta Football League Championship on Sunday afternoon with a 39-32 victory over the Calgary Wolfpack. The Stallions will now represent the AFL in the 2009 CMFL National Championship game against the Sault Steelers.

There in a new football league starting up in the fall of 2009 in the Calgary area. It is a 6-man tackle football league for adults. The Alberta Football League supports any initiative that provides a venue for more adults to continue playing the greatest game in the world!
