Albany Remix Win Springfield Tune-Up Shootout Tournament!
The Albany Remix 12u AAU Boys Basketball Team Won the Springfield Tune-Up Shootout Tournament held at Holyoke Community College during the weekend of April 7th by beating the Western Mass Selects in the Championship by a score of 55-44.

Albany Remix Place 2nd in Albany Capital Classic Tournament
The Albany Remix 12u Basketball Team placed second in the Albany Capital Classic Tournament held during the weekend of April 21. The Remix went 4-1 in the tournament.

Albany Remix Undefeated in League Play
The Albany Remix 12u Team is currently 8-0 in the Adirondack 12u Division A AAU League. Overall, the Remix are 31-5 through June 12th. They have victories over teams from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New Jersey and Quebec City....

Albany Remix Place 2nd in Qualifying Bracket at the Prestigious King of the Mountain National Qualifying Tournament
The Albany Remix 12u Basketball Team placed second in the qualifying bracket at the King of the Mountain National Qualifying Tournament held during the weekend of May 20th. The Remix went 3-1 earning second place medallions for their efforts and qualified for the National AAU 12u Boys Basketball Tournament.

Albany Remix Win Maple Syrup Classic!
The Albany Remix 12u AAU Boys Basketball Team won the Maple Syrup Classic Tournament held the weekend of June 3rd and 4th in Burlington, Vermont. The Remix went 4-0 in a field of 9 AAU Teams, defeating the Vermont 12u State Champs, who were previously undefeated, and were awarded genuine Vermont Maple Syrup for their accomplishment!(They also won the hearts of both the 12u and 14u Girls Basketball Team from Barre, Vermont,the Barre Hoopsters, who ended up cheering for the Remix in their final game....)

Albany Remix Boys 12U Give Strong Showing at NJ Tournament
The Albany Remix Boys 12u AAU Basketball Team showed NJ that we got game...playing in a USA Today Top 100 National AAU Boys Tournament, the Remix opened up with an impressive 80-23 win over the Staten Island Stingrays...in the second game of the day, the Remix had to play the former 12U State Champion West Jersey Hawks on outside courts...in the last few minutes of a very emotional game, the Remix made a run and took the lead for the first time of the game and never looked back winning 43-38....high fives, hugs and lots of smiles amongst players and families for such a hard fought victory! In the third game within 7 hrs, the Remix faced one of the strongest teams in the tournament, the Wayne Wolfpack, who had previously won 3 other local tournaments. The Wolfpack had the benefit of having only played one game earlier in the day vs the Stingrays...it was a see-saw game but in the end, the Wolfpack, who ended up winning the tournament, won by 3 pts...
It was a great weekend for all....congratulations to the Remix players for such a strong showing.

Albany Remix Win Adirondack League Championship!
The Albany Remix 12u Boys Basketball Team completed their undefeated league season by winning the Adirondack AAU League Championship today. The Remix went 10-0 in the league and beat Hoop Nation Black in the Championship game 55-33.

Successful Season!
In its first year as an AAU Club, the Albany Remix had a very successful season. The team finished with an impressive 33-5 record, winning tournaments in New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. They also placed second in two other NY Tournaments. We had a lot of fun and take with us a lot of great memories...congratulations Albany Remix!!

Albany Remix Win Capital District Round Ball Classic Championship
The Albany Remix won the Capital District Round Ball Classic Championship this summer in Troy, NY. The team went 9-1 in the league and were awarded very nice sports bags for their accomplishment.
For 2006, the Remix ended with a 42-6 record.

Albany Remix Place Second at Run and Gun Classic
The 2007 Albany Remix 13u Team placed second in the Run and Gun Classic held in Binghamton, NY April 14 & 15th. The Remix went 3-1 in the tournament.

Albany Remix Place Second at the Prestigious Rhode Island Breaker Tournament
The Albany Remix 13u Team had a strong showing at the 8th Annual Rhode Island Breaker Challenge held June 2nd & 3rd by placing second with a 3-1 record. This tournament, which hosted 100 teams, was the second largest basketball tournament ever hosted in Rhode Island.

Albany Remix 13u AAU Team Wins King of the Mountain Tournament
The Albany Remix 13U AAU Basketball Team went 5-0 and were crowned the 2007 DII Champions of the King of the Mountain Tournament held May 18-20. This tournament hosted over 135 teams this year.

2008 Albany Remix Win March Mayhem Tournament
The 2008 Albany Remix were crowned champions of the 2008 March Mayhem Tournament held the weekend of March 29-30th at the Troy Boys & Girls Club. Despite losing the first game to a very strong Vermont Sea Cougars team 75-67 on Saturday, the Remix beat Burnt Hills 78-49, then faced Burnt Hills again in the semi-finals and won that game 79-70. This placed the Remix in the finals with the Vermont Sea Cougars. The Remix playing their third game on Sunday, with only 7 players, put forth an outstanding team effort both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball and came away with the victory, 75-54! Congratulations to all Albany Remix players on a terrific tournament!
