ASCPW Football Association: Welcome

Pop Warner Tackle Football and Cheerleading for youths ages 5 thru 15.  The official site for Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading in Anchorage, Eagle River and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.  Alaska South Central Pop Warner serves as the Highest Legal Authority (HLA) for Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading in Alaska.  We are home for the beginnings of competitive youth football and cheerleading in our state.

ASC participants play and cheer in a minimum of **8 GAMES** per season .  Our football program does have minimum play requirements, insuring all players receive game time.  There are no tryouts, we take new players at every age group.  Practice begins July 25th.  Please see our age/weight matrix under "Handouts".  Weights do not apply to Cheerleading.  

ASC Pop Warner stresses the importance of scholastic achievement, requiring a 2.0 to participate in games. We combine sports and scholastics for a positive experience.   ASC Pop Warner recognizes scholastic achievement with a local scholastic awards banquet.  In addition, the National Pop Warner organization recognizes these same achievements with their National scholastic awards banquet.  Athletes with less than a 2.0 may participate but are required to submit progress reports once school is in session.

FOOTBALL and CHEERLEADING..... You can contact the above teams directly, thru Links (in left sidebar), or call our office at 694-7850.  Football registration fee is $195.00 and the equipment/uniform can run an additional $279.00.  Rental football equipment is available thru some of the teams.  Cheerleading registration fee is $125.00 and the cheer uniform package is $175.00.  Fundraising options are available.
