May Madness Tournament Information

All,
First, we would like to thank you for attending the May Madness tournament. We have worked hard to make this a positive experience for the players and an enjoyable time for the parents and other spectators. You can find all information for the site in the Notes section for the tournament on AES. Additionally, please check AES periodically for any updates to pools. If there is a difference between my information below and AES prior to Saturday’s pool play, then go with the information in AES. If there is a problem during the tournament, please speak to the court manager first.

*** All teams need to check in with the site court manager ***

IMPORTANT NOTE: Everyone needs to read the Notes section for the locations and rules of each facility.

You will also find the address along with a google map link (you will need to copy and paste into a browser) to each facility we are using for this tournament in the Rules/Info tab along with a breakout of the abbreviations.

Spectator Fees will be (Cash Only):
Tournament Pass
Free for 0 to 5
$2 for 6 to 12 and those 65 and older
$3 for adults (ages 13 to 64)
*** If the wristband is lost, you will need to purchase another. ***

*** Reminder for everyone that there is no food or drink (other than water) in the facilities. Please remember that it is a privilege to use these facilities and not a right. So, please clean up after yourselves and respect the inside and outside of the facilities. At any time, the host can inform us that we are not able to provide any more tournaments there. We want to continue to use each and every facility to provide a place for the players to be able to continue to play in our volleyball tournaments. There have already been a couple of occasions in the past where the inside and outside of a facility has been vandalized during a tournament and we wish this not to happen anymore. ***

*** Alcohol is not permitted inside the facilities or on the campus grounds. ***

*** The times on the schedule are just an estimate except when there is a mandatory break. The first match after the break will start at the scheduled time unless all teams agree to continue. All matches after the 1st will begin warm-ups immediately after the completion of the previous match. ***

*** Doors to the facilities will not be open until 45 minutes prior to the first scheduled match for that location. ***
