Alamo Gives Back!
Alamo Volleyball players, coaches, parents, and siblings took some time out of their Thanksgiving break to give back to their community. Alamo represented over 250 volunteers at four locations around San Antonio.

· At the Children’s Hunger Fund, the 12’s, 13’s, and 14’s, wrapped over 40,000 presents for needy children.
· At the San Antonio Food Bank, the 15’s and 16’s worked to take truckloads of potatoes and sort them into individual 50 pound bags for distribution to various charities.
· At Respite Care of San Antonio, the 17’s worked to spruce up the facility from painting to sorting to cleaning.
· At the San Antonio Furniture Bank, the 18’s accepted donated furniture, categorized and sorted it for distribution to families in need.

The girls were amazing! Although the work was hard, their attitudes were great the entire day. We look forward to doing this again next year!

Alamo 17 Kaepa Premier's Amy Nettles is named to the All-American Team at the AAU Nationals.
