SUMMER CLINICS TO FEATURE BUSTER POSEY!

Alameda Little League endorses the Diamond Skills Camps that are run by the local college age team named the Neptune Pearl at our Little League fields. These players are former Alameda Little Leaguers who have come back to Little League and offer excellent clinics designed to make our players better during the summer months. No other clinics in Alameda are endorsed by Alameda Little League, nor do they contribute to us.

If you sign up for a clinic please sign up for these to benefit Alameda Little League!

ALAMEDA LITTLE LEAGUE GOES "ZERO WASTE"

Please click on the link above to learn how our League will be handling waste this year. We have received a grant to assist us in our efforts to recycle and compost as much material as possible, but we need your help to succeed. The containers will be just like the ones at your home, so there really are no surprises. We simply must put the materials in the correct container.

Please join in the effort to make Alameda Little League a ZERO WASTE leader in the community!

The Definition of Baseball
A Simple Explanation of Baseball

This is a game played by two teams, one out, the other in.
The one that's in sends players out one at a time to see if
they can get in before they get out. If they get out before
they get in, they come in, but it doesn't count. If they get
in before they get out, it does count.

When the ones out get three outs from the ones in before
they get in without being out, the team that's out comes in
and the team in goes out to get those going in out before
they get in without being out.

When both teams have been in and out nine times, the game is
over. The team with the most in without being out before
coming in wins unless the ones in are equal. In which case,
the last ones in go out to get the ones in out before they
get in without being out.

The game will end when each team has the same number of ins
out but one team has more in without being out before coming
in.
