Welcome to the Homepage of the Official New 2008

A Semi-Pro Football Team and member of the original Great Lakes Football League. As a new team to this league, we plan to demonstrate our Professionalism through Aggressive Dedication, Hard Work and with a Competitive, yet fun spirited attitude.

The Akron Raiders® brings together a diverse group of men from various ethnic, social and economic backgrounds who share a common objective and goal "Team Attitude." A "Team" with a mind in "Making a Difference!"

The Akron Raiders®, a 501(c)3, nonprofit organization, which  is in collaboration with "Akron Means Business" and other local businesses. We are aggressively moving forward toward our goal, as we are currently in communications with sponsors such as Riddell, Nike, Coca Cola, Under Amour Sports and others for our up-coming season and future endeavors. With these promising negotiations in place, we're planning on "Making a Difference!" 

For all those 18 years and older with a "Team Attitude" who want to participate in playing and for those interested in volunteering and "Making a Difference" in our community efforts, please feel free to contact:
