Ambler Junior Baseball: Connie Mack

Connie Mack Wissahickon is travel league where Ambler Junior Baseball (AJB) controls the charter.  Kids age 13 to 16 that reside in Lower Gwynedd, Whitpain and Ambler are eligible to play in this league.  There are several levels of play (A, B1, B, C1 and C) depending mostly on age and skill of the player.  It is played on a MLB sized field (90’) against teams in the surrounding area between 15 to 45 minutes away.  Home games are played at the Wissahickon Middle or High School Baseball field.  

In this league there are three choices for players:

1)         Connie Mack Spring is very similar to the fall league…generally more relaxed, less competitive and no playoffs.  This spring league begins early April and runs for about 12 games only on weekends.  This is prior to the normal summer league which begins late May.  The cost is lower than summer and you register through AJB’s site http://www.eteamz.com/ajb/  The cutoff date to register for this league is in early March.

2)         Connie Mack Summer runs late May through end of July.  There are many more teams, it is more competitive and there are playoffs.  Games are mostly on week-ends.  The cost is higher and you also register through AJB’s site http://www.eteamz.com/ajb/  The cutoff date to register for this league is in mid-April.

3)         Connie Mack Fall is similar to spring.  The fall league begins mid-September and runs for about 12 games ending late October.  The cost is the same as spring and you register through AJB’s sitehttp://www.eteamz.com/ajb/. The cutoff date to register for this league is in early August.
