AAA Phillies: Welcome
Saturday, June 13
The Phillies capped off a great season today by Winning the Championship game!
It was a great win against a tough Cubs ball club, the Cubs played well but we were able to hold off their late inning scoring to come away with the win. We started scoring early and never looked back. It was a great team victory and every player should be proud of this game. Final Score: Phillies 13 - Cubs 8

The Phillies had two nice wins against the Giants and the Orioles to earn a spot in the Championship Game. Monday night we played a tough Giants team that kept us scoreless in the 1st four innings but we were able to chip away and force extra innings and win it in the 7th. It was a great game against a very good team. Final score 6 - 5, Phillies
Wednesday we faced the 1st place team, The Orioles. The Orioles are a good team and we split our series during the year 1 - 1. We scored early and never gave up the lead although the Orioles played very tough, and came within one run before we were able to open up the scoring with a six run inning and went on to win, 15 - 8.
We will face either the Yankees or the Cubs who will be playing each other Thursday Night.

Tuesday, May 12
We have one two straight games over the Yankees and Cubs.
The Yankees game was a close time shortened game where we were able to hold off a young scrappy team.
The Cubs had two hard throwing pitchers but our bats came alive and the top of our line was a staggering 13 for 15 batting. Our pitchers did a great job and our defense was awesome. We threw out a runner at third trying to steal and two other close plays at third. It was a good all around game.
Our next game is on Saturday morning where we look to play hard and have fun!!
Sunday, May 3
The Phillies have lost their last two games, one to the Cubs and one to the Yankees. Both games were hard fought and the last one came down to the last out. The Phillies have games Monday night and Wednesday night against the same teams, Cubs and Yankees and they are looking to get back in the win column. They both should be good games.
Monday, April 27
We won our first game today with good pitching, timely hitting and some great defense. We only gave up 3 runs to a good Orioles team and we were able to score in every inning to keep the pressure on. It was a very hot afternoon, but we were hotter. Great game by all.
