Keena Powers Tigers Past McKean, 26 - 21
Jarred Keena's passing and running provided the spark in A.I.'s defeat of McKean. The defense held tight and the Tigers came away with a win.

Simpson ties mark in Newark victory

No. 1 Newark won 41-6 at Alexis I. du Pont on Friday as Butch Simpson tied Bruce Reynolds' state record for the most wins by a high school football coach - 218. Simpson was humble about the accomplishment. He was more concerned that his Yellowjackets were only ahead 14-0 at halftime, turning the ball over twice in the first half. Full Story. |

Delcastle, 19 - 0, October 16, 2004
A.I.
played a very strong defensive game and defeated
Delacastle 19 - 0. This was the first shut out for the
Tigers this century! The game was close through out the
first half but the Tigers defense wore Delcastle
down the second half. The Tigers picked off 7 Delcastle
passes. Ken Hopkins had 3 of the interceptions and ran
one back for a touch down. He was the player of the
game. Sonya Tadjalli scored her first extra point.
