Alleghany High School Christian Heritage Acadamy-Field 1 From North: Take U.S. 220 south to third Rocky Mount exit, Business U.S. 220 North. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto South Main Street. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left at light onto Scuffling Hill Rd. Go 0.8 mile and turn left onto Glen Wood Dr. (dead end street); go 0.4 mile and CHA is on left. From South:Take U.S. 220 North to first Rocky Mount exit, Business U.S. 220 North. Turn at the end of the ramp onto South Main Street. Lancaster Community College Note: Directions start from Exit 16 on I-64, the travel time is approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Best route is using Interstate 64. Take exit 24, marked US 220 Business (south), Clifton Forge, DSLCC. The college is located just north of the interchange; you can't miss it, soccer fields are around back. During games please stay off the tennis courts unless you are playing tennis. Bathrooms are located in Scott Hall. Hollins #1 Jackson River Sports Complex (AET Fields) From Interstate 64 (east or west) take exit 14. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Go straight through the stop light at the Riverbend Shopping Center (Wal-Mart). Continue straight. The road makes a hard left turn. Continue across a bridge. The road makes another hard left turn at AET (Applied Extrusion Technologies). The Jackson River Complex will be the first road on the left after passing the AET parking lot. There will be signs indicating the road to the Jackson River Sports Complex. The soccer field is in the far left corner of the complex. Lawrence Field From I-81, take exit 146 for Hollins. Follow Plantation Road to light at intersection with Williamson (U.S. 11). Turn left and follow on U.S. 11 past the Pepsi plant. Turn right onto road at the Lee Highway Professional Park building. Moose Lodge From Covington, take US 60, past Boys' Home. Shortly thereafter cross over a bridge. Take next right, shortly after the bridge, onto Moose Lodge road. Follow to end of road. Fields are behind the Lodge. Please drive very slowly in the Moose Lodge parking lot. Also please try to park in the gravel area of the parking lot. Do not go or park past the garage on your left. Approaching from US 60 from the west, the turn-off is between the Humpback Bridge and Boy's Home, on the left as you come down a hill towards a bridge. Bathrooms are located down the hill behind the Moose Lodge building near the picnic shelter. Rivers Edge Park Rivers Edge Soccer #2 Weyers Cave Community Center Take I-81 to Exit 235 at Weyers Cave. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. The center will be on the left just beyond the traffic light in Weyers Cave, approximately 2 miles off the interstate. Alderson: U12, U14 Note: Directions start from exit 10 I-64 West. The approximate travel time is 50 minutes. Travel 32.2 miles to I-64 Exit 161 Alta. Turn left onto Route 12 South. Travel 11 miles into Alderson. Two streets past the gas station on the right, turn right onto Cedar Avenue. Travel two blocks. Football field (at Alderson Elementary) on the left. There is a parking lot and we think a concession stand. Alderson: U8, U10 Note: Directions start from exit 10 I-64 West. The approximate travel time is 50 minutes. Travel 32.2 miles to I-64 Exit 161 Alta. Turn left onto Route 12 South. Travel 11 miles into Alderson. At the three (3) way stop sign turn right, before the Exxon on the right. Travel 2 tenths of a mile to a fork in the road, go left. Travel 3 tenths of a mile to the top of the hill. There will be a sign for Alderson Town Park. Turn left into the park. Follow road around. There are two baseball fields, the first one on the right, is the U-8 field (Little League field). The second field (Sr. League field) on the left is where the U-10's will play. Park where you can. Blue Ridge Park From Covington/Clifton Forge, take Rt 220 south towards Roanoke, past I-81 to SR 460. Take Orange Ave./460 east. At the General Shale Sign (Old Webster Brick) take a right onto Webster Road/Route 738. Go 1 1/2 miles, park sign will be on your left. Take a left into the park to field Cloverdale Elementary School Green Hill Polo #1 Lewisburg (U14) Note: Directions start from Covington Exit 14 I-64. Travel time is about 30 to 35 minutes. Go I-64 West 29.2 Miles to I-64 Exit # 169 Lewisburg/Ronceverte, Route 219, Turn Left at light onto 219 South, go 9 tenths of a mile turn left into the Medical School Entrance. Take the first immediate right which is Lee Street, go 2 tenths of a mile to Greenbrier Road, turn left. Go 1 tenth mile you will see the Lewisburg Elementary School Blue sign, turn right. Park in gravel parking lot. City of Lewisburg Hollowell Park. Millboro: U12, U14 Note: Directions start from Exit 16 on I-64, the travel time is approximately 40 to 45 minutes. Take I-64 East to Exit 29. Turn left onto route 42 North. Go approx. 16.1 miles. Route 42 dead ends into Route 39. Turn right onto Route 39 East/42 North. Go approx. 1.8 miles. Turn right onto TC Walker Road, (#635). Go to stop sign- approx. 1.6 miles. Turn right onto Crooked Spur Road, #633. Go approx. 0.1 mile. Turn left onto High St., #688. Go approx. 0.1 mile. Turn right onto Church St. The U-12 and U-14 Soccer Field is on the left just beyond the new Elementary School (on the football field). Bathrooms are located behind the picnic shelter across the street from the U-12/U-14 fields. Valley Elementary: U8, U10 Note: Directions start at the intersection of Route 687 (Jackson River Road) and 220N, travel time is approximately 20-25 minutes. Take 220N 13.6 miles. Valley Elementary is on your left. If you get to The Homestead, then you have gone too far. Bathrooms are located in the building next to the swimming pool. White Sulphur Springs Note: Directions start from I-64 Covington exit 14. It takes about 25 (twenty five) to 30 (thirty) minutes. Go I-64 west 18.6 miles to I-64 exit # 181 White Sulphur Springs, turn right on to route 60 west (East Main). Go 1.5 miles, turn right onto Greenbrier Ave. (first street past city hall), (the last time we were there, there was no street sign), go about 2 tenths of a mile across narrow one lane bridge, soccer field for the U-8 and U-10 games in on the left immediately past bridge. The soccer field for the U-12 and U-14 games is on the right on the lighted football field (sometimes the U-10’s will play here). For parking go to stop sign, park in parking lot next to tennis courts. |
