VIKES TAKE OUT MANDEVILLE IN QUARTERFINALS
The Vikes took on the Mandeville Skippers today in the first quarterfinal game of the State Tournament. Albert Lafitte took the hill for the Vikes and he along with some excellent defense took out the Skippers 8-4. The batting highlight of the day was a solo homerun by Chase Hesson.
The Vikes will take on the winner of Barbe and Ponchatoula tomorrow at 11:00. Keep Up the Good Work, VIKINGS!!!!

BACK TO THE SHOW!!!!!
The Vikings are on their back to the State Tournament for the 2nd year after they defeated the Northshore Panthers in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
David Carter started on the hill for 2 2/3 innings, then turned the ball over to Andrew Shamsabady who brought it the rest of the way home. Bats were hot, especially for David Carter and Chase Hesson who both dropped bombs over the outfield wall. The hits were scattered throughout the line-up to put together a 10-5 win. The Vikings next game will be the State Quarterfinals in Denham Springs on Friday, 10 am, against Mandeville who defeated West Monroe to earn their spot. Schedule those vacation days now and come on down south to support Your Airline Vikings!
