The Adrian JR Bulldogs Midget AA team will be conducting tryouts on the following dates.
Friday, June 26th - 6:00 / 7:30pm - Optimist Arena (Jackson)
Wednesday, July 8th - 7:00 / 8:30pm - Optimist Arena

There is an incredible opportunity for our youth hockey players in the Adrian area.  Former All American & Adrian College captain Adam Krug, is coming back to Adrian to give our youth a chance to learn from him and his team of coaches.  As you may already know, after completion of his hockey career at Adrian College, Adam signed with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL and has now began to fulfill his dream of playing professional hockey.  What you may not know is that Adam has a deep sense of compassion for our community and our youth.  It is also a dream of his to see our youth program blossom into a solid, credible organization that will stand the test of time.  So, for the first time, Adam and his staff of Next Level coaches are coming to Adrian to help all youth hockey players learn the skills that are necessary to be competitive in hockey today.  As you will see in the attachment, Next Level Hockey School is not only challenging, but extremely affordable. I hope that everyone who receives this email message takes advantage of this awesome opportunity.  The AYHA supports Adam and his hockey school, and believes in the Next Level philosophy.  Not only does Adam have the right mindset to run a hockey school, but his staff is second to none.  His brother Matt also plays professionally and his youngest brother Torrey will be be playing at Michigan State this fall.  Finally, some of the Adrian College Varsity players will serve as assistants on the ice during this camp.  All youth players who participate is this camp will get the best from Adam and his staff.

USA Hockey's "Hockey Weekend Accross America" was a hit at Arrington Arena this past Saturday.  With the help of some of the Adrian College mens varsity hockey team players,  the Adrian Midget BB JR Bulldog team, and countless volunteers, the day and the weekend was a huge success.  Adrians local Tim Hortons was on hand to provide their support of local youth hockey with doughnuts and refreshments.  It seems that everyone had a great time and is looking forward to the growth of the AYHA.  It is obvious that the Adrian area needs opportunities like this to get kids involved in good programs at a low cost.  The AYHA and Adrian College work together to keep cost as low as possible and continue the growth of the sport of hockey in the community. The AYHA would like to thank everyone who helped out with the weekend's festivities especially the following: Ron Fogarty, AC varsity team players, AYHA Coaches, Adrian JR Bulldog Midget BB Team Players, Tim Hortons, parent and board member volunteers, Todd Mittelmeier, and last but not least, Tony Sissen for wearing the Tim Hortons coffee cup on the ice.  Great job Tony!  Also, the AYHA would like to thank the AC womens varsity head coach, Melissa Lomanto and her team for their support on Sunday morning.  The kids and parents certainly appreciate all of your help and support of our program.  The patience and instruction you and your team provide are priceless and serve our youth well.  This is not only from an instruction standpoint as your girls are excellent role models. -THANKS TO ALL!

Here is the Mini Mite 8-U schedule for 2008 - 2009. Some of the practice times will change to "Game" times and there will be approx. 4 ice times added for "away" games at other arenas.  Your Mini Mite team manager and coaches will inform you of these changes as they occur. The "Calendar " portion of this website will only be used for special events.  Please use this link for updated versions of our hockey schedule.

All Instructional Hockey is now scheduled for 9:00am.  If you were previously scheduled for 8:00am, please make a note of this newly scheduled time.  We apologize for any inconvenience regarding this schedule change.  Also, on February 1st, All Instructional Hockey will be from 8:30am/9:20am.   This is also "Picture Day" so please have you picture packets and payments ready. This time change is necessary to accommodate our Midget team (Playoff Game) vs the Motor City Wings @ 10:30am.

The "Calendar " portion of this website will only be used for special events.  Please use this link for updated versions of our hockey schedule.

The first round of player evaluations are finished however there is still room on most rosters for additional players.  So, if you missed evaluations, or you have not filled out your registration information yet, come to Arrington Arena on Monday or Wednesday to get evaluated and/or fill out your registeration. We will be conducting evaluations and accepting registrations on Monday Sept. 15th & Wednesday Sept. 17th from 6 - 8pm.  Remember, Instructional Hockey players do not need to be evaluated.

The Automatic Payment Authorization Form allows you to select from several payment options for this years hockey season.
