I personally enjoy (outdoor) swimming but there are a lot of great indoor sports as well. A few that come to mind include; indoor soccer, indoor volleyball, indoor basketball, and many others. Some other fun sports that many of my friends enjoy include water skiing, surfing, and water polo.

Monthly Tips

Think twice when removing members
Issue: When deleting a member from your site, keep in mind they may have statistics you previously entered for them. If you completely remove a member, all of their statistics and history will be removed.

Solution: What you may want to do is make the member inactive (in case they return to your team/league or if you do not want their history removed). You can make a member inactive with your Members or People folder in your Site Admin. Click the edit icon located to the right of the member name then click the "personal information" link. Select "no" next to Active and click "update" at the bottom of the page.

Overlooked soccer training method
Most soccer conditioning is based upon running...and rightfully so. Typically a coach will have his or her players run distance or sprints. But never together. This is a monumental mistake.

The game of soccer demands a player can "cruise" at lower speed and then turn on a 100% sprint at the drop of a dime. This is done throughout the entire game. Therefore, interval training should be the basis of your conditioning work as that will have the greatest carryover to the soccer field.

Alternate periods of slower, duration running with sprints ranging from 85-100% of a players max.
