Last Sundays "B" Grade showdown between the two Tigers teams went the distance with the Tigers 1 team winning in a shoot-out. Both teams let 2 goal leads slip away during regulation time and the Tigers 1 team scored in the last minute to tie the game at 5 all and send the game into extra time. Neither team could manage a goal in the extra time setting up the shoot-out where the Tigers 1 team prevailed.

In "A" Grade action last week the Tigers made it 4 wins in a row with a 4 - 2 win over the Falcons. The Tigers had new import Cam Dion in the line-up and Dion had 3 of the 4 goals for the Tigers. The win put the Tigers in top spot as the Red Wings upset the Blackhawks 6 - 5 in the other "A" Grade game. Guy Barker and Doug Publicover were called up from "B" Grade and both players had very strong games. Next up for the "A" Graders is the Red Wings this Thursady at 9:45

This Sunday at 7:15pm both Tiger's B Grade teams will face each other for the first time since last years Grand Final. The two teams are both undefeated after 6 games this season.

In "A" Grade action this week the Tigers will play the Blackhawks at 4:15pm on Saturday. The "A" Grade side is coming of a good 7 - 0 win over the Red Wings with American import Sean Naughton scoring 4 goals. This Saturdays game against the Power House Hawks will be a big test for the Tigers.

After playing last season in the "B" Grade for the Tigers 1 team Luke Burley has stepped right into the "A" Grade line-up and after 3 games he looks to right at home.
