Coach Kerry Harwood enters his 13th year as head baseball coach at Allen County-Scottsville High School after serving two years (95-96) under Coach Gary DeWitt as an assistant and two years (93-94) under Coach Bobby Williams as a volunteer coach.
After graduation, he attended Western Kentucky University and started his coaching career as a para-pro football coach at Allen County-Scottsville in 1988 under Coach Jim Tinius. Harwood served as assistant football coach under Larry Gilbert, Chad Cooper, Steve Long and Brad Hood.
Harwood married Lori in 1990 and they reside in Allen County with their two children Kyle, age 15, and Kassey, age 10.
Coach Harwood led the Patriots to back-to-back regional championships in 2005-06 and enters the 2009 season with 189 career wins entering the 2009 season.
