Abington Little League: League News
2013 All Stars
All Star Try Outs—Ackerly Complex
The 2013 Baseball All Star tryouts will be Sunday June 2 and June 9. 6-8 PM Please come at 530 to warm up and sign in.
The teams are 9&10 YO and 10&11 YO. The 12 YO, Jr and Big League will be picked by the coaches. You must be that age on April 30, 2013. We will tell Major farm players at the tryout what league they are on.
Please bring a glove, bat and helmet.
You MUST have participated in at least 60% of your Little League regular season games by the season’s end to be eligible for All Stars. If you are not sure, ask your coach.
The 9&10 & 12 YO can start practicing June 10 and the games start June 24. Names will be announced on June 11
The 10& 11 YO can start practicing on June 16. Names will be announced on June 15. Games starting on July 1.
All stars are a MAJOR time commitment to practice and games. If you are planning a family vacation during the all star season and will miss the practices or games, please be considerate and do not take a spot away for a player that will make all of the commitments. This is very important. Please be honest when asked at sign-ins.
We will be sending out a letter via email and a posting on the website shortly.
