I am trying to contact past players or coaches who played with Joe Ware. He coached the F Smith team for many years.

I played for First National Bank with Mark Cruciani as our catcher in 1969. (we both have the same birthdays) My neighbors were the Nubani's (John and Mazen played Little League. I remember they played music before the game at the field on Sheridan Ave. The 5th Dimension Up Up an and away was the song I remember most. Very fond memories, especially having moved from a city area in 1966 to Clarks Summit. Moved back to NJ in 69. Went to Our Lady of Snow in Clarks Green. Remember those nice busrides and listening to the Mets win the seriers in 69 on my Transitor on the bus with Mr. Petty driving us. We lived at 419 Welsh Hill Road down from the HS. ( I did hit three home runs in 69 and also beaned someone in the head by mistake of course while totally losing control during a game. My parents were at the game and I got the hook. I was upset and tears came down as my parents decided to leave and tell me they were going home through the tiny back window of the dugout.   (I road my bike to the field). Also threw some combined shutouts with another pitcher. The manager had us flip flop to share half the game so we would not tire and lose control. Some other names. Jeff Slocum (he hit a HR off of me), Jay Nogan, I have a old scorecard from the newspaper somewhere. Oh well if you are from 69 you may have like my rambling (Google maps has a street view of the field and when I saw it I flashed back 41 years.
