*****All games and practices for Saturday, May 10th have been cancelled due to poor field conditions. Coaches, please contact your commissioners for possible make up dates. Season will resume on Monday, May 12th as scheduled.*****

Play Ball!

The season is here and we will kick it off with our annual parade on Saturday, May 3rd. The parade will leave Clarks Summit Elementary promptly at 9AM. The kids will march up Grove St., down State St., and up Winola road to Dave Parker Memorial Stadium. Please have the kids in uniform and at the school no later than 8:45. There will be brief opening ceremonies and award presentations for our 2007 champs and all-stars. Parking around the park is limited so please be courteous to the neighbors! See you at the parade and have a great 2008 season!  

  




 

 


 

Our league relies heavily on its volunteers to provide your child with a positive and rewarding Little League experience. Please consider a volunteer opportunity and get involved today! Click on the title link above to learn more from Little League Baseball and the handout link below for specific opprtunities within The Abington Little League. Keep in mind that Little League Baseball requires all volunteers to fill out a volunteer application/ background check form which also can be found by clicking the link below. 

The League is once again taking orders for apparel items. The items offered this year are as follows:

Short Sleeve T-Shirt: $12.00

Long Sleeve T-Shirt: $16.00

Hooded Sweatshirt: $22.00

All items are navy in color and are emblazed with Abington Baseball on the front. These items have been approved for wear by the Abington Heights School District. The Journal has offered the league a generous fundraising opportunity.
