The ABAA 14U softball team headed to state July 7-8 with the best draw possible starting with a bye.  However the team lost its first game against Madison 8-6, then went on to win two games by 10-run rule. On Sunday, July 8, the girls lost the third game of the day to Argyle 6-2.

Ponte Vedra (who AB beat twice for the district championship in June) went on to beat Argyle, finish 2nd and head to the Southeast regional in North Carolina.
