The Little Steelers of Eastlake Park took advantage of Light & Life turnovers, returning 5 interceptions for touchdowns in the first 6 possesions, to beat the #1 ranked Light & Life Panthers for the Frank Sanders League title.

Kelly Harrington returned and interception 85 yards for a TD and scored on a 70 yard pitch. Antoine Peete also scored on a interception return and a running play. Quiana Jackson scored on the center keep as the Steelers took a 28-7 lead into halftime. Sean Seitz scored on a Jesse Gerkey pass for the Panthers. Gerkey threw a TD pass to Dan Flemming late in the game. The Steelers closed out the scoring with another interception return, this time by Keandre Pittman.

Matt Starks scores twice on long runs as the Cardinals outlast the Cobras. The Cardinals defense shutdown the Cobras for most of the game until Jerry broke loose for two long TD runs of his own.West valley teams swept Isaac league "Project LEAP" teams in the semi-final rounds.

The 2001 Fall League Championship Series for Coach Mo Football (FLCS-I) was played at the Arizona Cardinals practice facility in Tempe. The Cardinals, Titans and Cowboys played 3 exciting games as the Cowboys, who were blowing away opponents as of late during their 5 game win streak, emerged the victors in a squeaker.

Fall NFL Flag League Championship Series game one.

FLCS game I
Titans 21, Cardinals 14 (2OT)
John Kuells scored twice and Cameron led the Titans in rushing with 88 yards on 5 carries as the Titans outlast the Cardinals in double overtime. The Cardinal's Kamaal Muhammad opened the scoring in the first series with a 40 yard touchdown run on a counter play. Cameron Lockett followed a few plays later with a 35 rard run of his own. A John Kuells TD catch put the Titans ahead 14-7 with the cloack running out but Muhammad (113 yards rushing on 7 carries) broke loose for another 40yd run. In triple overtime the Titans Stefan Tellis intercepted a Cardinal pass in the endzone. That led to a 10 yard run by Kuells and a win for the Titans.

FLCS Game II
Cowboys 14, Cardinals 0
The regular season league champs Cowboys took on a tired,but fired up Cardinals team in FLCS game 2. Ben Shook scored twice as the faster Cowboys (with 3 Lightning Track Club members on board) shut down the
Cardinals 14-0.

Ben Shook led off the scoring with a 50 yard run on a pitch out form quarterback Arosh Parsi. Shook finished with 70 yards rushing, 40 recieving, despite being keyed on all afternoon. The Cardinals threatened to score 3 times but turned the ball over on downs twice & Parsi intercepted a pass on another. Parsi capped the scoring late in the game with under two minutes left throwing a pass to Shook.

FLCS Game 3
The League Championship
Cowboys 7, Titans 0
It got a little physical but the faster Cowboys outlasted a determined Titans team 7-0 in another defensive struggle. Jordan Hamilton's 35 yard run early in the game proved to be enough as the speedy Cowboys shut down the Titan offense for most of the game.
