Will you miss the upcoming meet?

By Wednesday night of this week, please send an email to Josh Griffin at jvgriffin@gmail.com.  Please include the swimmers names that will not be attending.  If the swimmer will not be available for the entire meet, please provide a time frame of that the swimmer could be involved in the meet.

The HOTLINE is dead and has been replaced by a text messaging service!

Instead of a hotline, we are implementing text message notification. We will send text messages for any urgent communications for practice cancelations or any other immediate notification purposes. We have two notification groups. One for lower and one for upper division. If you have swimmers in both age groups, please sign up for both notification groups. You will receive a text message upon set up which will give you instructions on how to opt out of the notification.

Help Wanted

We have more work than we have committee members to complete. Most of our volunteer requirements are at meets where we need people to time, run completed time cards to the computer, hostess, process ribbons, officiate and heat swimmers. Beyond the basic needs at a swim meet, we need people to take responsibility for coordinating specific tasks such as the following:  

  • Awards – Shop for and purchase awards used at the Pentathlon meet and end of year ceremony. 
  • Announcer – Announces results at home meets. 
  • Tent manager – Responsible for setting up/taking down tent at all meets. 
If you have any interest in one of these items, please speak with one of the committee members. We appreciate any assistance.
