ANC Baseball League: Summer '07 Championships
Sunday, October 7CHAPALA, the PIRATES, and the ALL-STARS earned the right to say that they are #1 as they were victorious in their respective Championship games today.
The game of the day went to the A Division. CHAPALA scored two runs in the ninth to win 7-5 over the WARRIORS. CHAPALA'S JASON RUIZ drove in the two runs with a single in the decisive inning. WARRIORS nemesis RONNIE RUBIO was the named the game's MVP as he worked eight innings for the win. ARMANDO CARLIN, JR worked the ninth for the save.
The PIRATES slaughtered DA BEARS 20-5 to capture their first B Division championship. PIRATES catcher Mike Trebaol received MVP honors.
It was a first for the ALL-STARS as well as they destroyed los AZTECAS 20-6. JOVAN RAMIREZ took home the MVP trophy.
