Maybe to the surprise of some, the umpires of the ANCBASEBALL League do attend training camps and classes, whether it be for high school or for instance, like today's Major League Baseball Camp for Umpires in Compton.
The best part of the class was listening to soon to be Hall of Fame Umpire, Bruce Froemming's speech on game management. He basically told us not take crap from anyone! Froemming was a great character.

GAME RECAPS
If you would like a game recap of your recently played game, please e-mail a short story (no more than 7 sentences) to a_cbaseball@yahoo.com with the following REQUIRED information.
1) Full name of player/s involved
2) Detail the game situation (example: Bottom of the 7th two outs when Joe Blow hit a two-run triple to give the Ducks the lead)
3) If you include a picture, please provide the full name of players pictured
4) Submit your story no later than 5PM of the Monday following the game
ANCBASEBALL reserves the right to edit any of the story that is submitted!
