Game Schedules Have Been posted for the 2013 Season in the Handout Area.
We would like to congratulate the 2012 Junuior Boys and 9-10 (minor) Softball for being District 5 Champions. GOOD JOB!!

If you Register on-line before 1/1/13 you will Save $20.00. If you Register on-line from 1/2/13 - 1/12/13 you will save $10.00 or you can register in person on 1/12/13 From 10 - 1 at the Manzano Mesa Community Center to save $10.00.

There will by A late charge of $10.00 charged on all Registrations after February 2, 2013.
Registration will be held at the Manzano Mesa Community Center at the corner of Elizabeth and Southern SE (501 Elizabeth SE) or Register on-line. Each player will be required to sell 1 box of candy or pay the profit.
Players MUST be League Age's 4 - 18, to be eligible to play and MUST live within our Boundaries.
Fee's
The Fee for 2013 is $110.00 for the First player, $60.00 for the Second and Third Player, $40.00 for the Forth player and the Fifth player is free. The Fee enclouds the complete uniform Shirt, Pants, Hat and Socks.
Boundaries are:
West of city limits, to I-40, south of I-40 to Easterday, West of Easterday (Moon) to Menaul, South of Menaul to Wyoming, East of Wyoming to central, west of Central to Carlisle, east of Carlisle to Gibson, North of Gibson to Eubank, east of Eubank to city limits.
Parents must go to the handout area, download, sign and return the Medical release Form and Parent code of conduct form if you register on-line.

50/70 Pilot Program:
Zia Little League is excited to announce the new 50/70 baseball program for the 2011 season. We will be offering this program in addition to our regular season. This is an opportunity to play extra games at a more competitive level and to transition to the larger Junior /Senior fields. Changes include the following:· Games played on a larger field – 70’ base paths & 50’ pitcher’s mound· Full Baseball ruleso Base runners can lead?offo Batter/runner can run on a dropped 3rd strikeo Pitchers can pick off base runnero Big barrel bats allowed (2 5/8”) ……plus many more The division is open to players league age 12 or 13. Players will still be eligible to play on their respective regular season division All-Star Tournament teams as long as they meet the normal requirements for those divisions. (Twelve year olds to the Little League (Major) Baseball division and 13 year olds to the Junior Baseball division.)If you are registered to play in one of the other regular season divisions offered, the registration cost is only an additional $10. We are still in the planning stages, but we plan to start practices for this division February 26th with games starting March 12th and running through the 2nd or 3rd week of April. We are planning on having games on Saturdays and 1 game during the week on a specific, yet to be determined, day. We will most likely not have games during spring break, but that is yet to be determined. If you are interested in this program, Please contact a Board Member.
2013 Board Elections:
Zia Little League will be holding 2012 - 2013 board elections on 9/28/12 6:00 PM at the Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center. If you are interested in voting or becoming a member please contact Brian Jones at 480-6212 ASAP.
