All wrestlers must have a current USA wrestling card to participate in practice. This is a requirement for insurance purposes.
Attention Parents and Coaches - USA Wrestling now requires background checks for Coaches, Mat Officials, and Pairings Officials. If you need to aquire or renew these memberships for 2011, you will need to do it directly with USA Wrestling at www.themat.com.

A shutterfly website has been established that members will be able to share pictures taken of Yorktown Wrestling. Members will also be able to purchase prints directly from shutterfly. The website is http://yorktownwrestlingclub.shutterfly.com/.

Yorktown High School Wrestlers have done it again. For the 3rd year in a row, they competed in the AAU Scholastic Duals at the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex and have completed the competition undefeated and National Champs!
Congrats to Ross Janney who received the Outstanding Wrestler Award for the tournament.
Congrats to Brock Bevans, Chandler Carroll, Schuyler Phillips, Derek Bevans, Conner Mullins, Devon Jackson, Andrew Hiestand, Jackson Bratcher, and Ross Janney for all receiving Gold Medals for finishing the tournament undfeated. Scott Neff received a Silver Medal for finishing with only one defeat and Rhett Hiestand a Bronze medal with only two defeats.
We are very proud of all of our wrestlers.
