Findlay Young Miss Softball was formed to provide recreational softball opportunities to young ladies in the Findlay area. We currently field Recreational Slow Pitch teams for ages 6-18.

Findlay Young Miss Softball has merged with Hancock County Slowpitch. All area communities that participate in recreational slowpitch softball will register through Findlay Young Miss Softball in 2013.   

Rookie (coach pitch) teams and Bantam teams will be kept together in their communities and/or schools as they are now. Nothing will change from how those teams have been organized in the past. If you have enough players for a team in those age groups, it will be kept together in that community. The eligibility age will change somewhat. Rookie Division will be ages 6-8, Bantam Division ages 8-10. Eight year olds are given an option of either division, depending on experience or skill level.

Junior (ages 11-13) and Senior (gaes 14-18) players will be drafted to teams in the Findlay league. These are not tryouts. All that register will be on teams. We use a draft at those age levels in order to try and make the teams as even as possible.

A player's age as of January 1, 2013 determines what division they are eligible to play in.
