T-Ball
Instructional League Ages 4-6 T-Ball provides basic fundamentals of the game and introduces players to the concept of team play. This is a non-competitive division where players learn proper mechanics by hitting off a tee during the season. No scores or standings are recorded. Coach Pitch Instructional League Coach Pitch This division provides players a better understanding and concept of the game. Basic skills are refined and stressed. Players are pitched to by the coaches Players age 6 are permitted to play if they have played one year of T-Ball.(space allowing. No scores or standings are recorded. A Instructional League - Player Pitch Skills are enhanced and players begin to learn responsibilities of each position. Players pitch all season with the support of managers and coaches when needed. This division is for 7 year olds who have played 2 years of baseball at the lower level and all 8 year olds that choose not to try out for AA or who try out for AA but are not chosen in the draft. AA Little League Division - Tryouts Ages 8 & 9 The AA Division is a played in a competitive format. Any player missing tryouts who is player age 9 will automatically be placed in the AA Division. AA plays two games a week. Scoring and standings are maintained. The season ends with playoffs that determine a champion and then a city tournament. AAA Little League Division - Tryouts Ages 9 - 11 Minor AAA is a competitive division where scores and standings are officially recorded. Players are placed on teams by a pre-season tryout evaluation/draft. Any player missing tryouts who is player age 11 will automatically be placed in the Minor AAA Division. Majors Little League Division Tryouts Ages 10 - 12 Majors is a competitive division, where scores and standings are officially recorded. Once you are placed on a Majors team, as a returning player you are not redrafted. New players or players moving up from AAA or AA are drafted after tryout evaluations/draft. All players age 12 will automatically be placed on a Major Division team based on pre-season tryout evaluations/draft (unless a serious safety risk exists). At the season end, the team/teams with the best overall record will be the winner and represent the League at the Tournament of Champions. Juniors EYLLL/YHLL/WYLLL Interleague play Juniors is a competitive division, where scores and standings are officially recorded. Players are redrafted every year through a pre-season tryout evaluations/draft. Juniors compete in inter league play with East and West Yorba Linda teams. At the season end, the team with the best overall record will be the winner and represent the League at the Tournament of Champions. Juniors Alliance Play 2009 (does not affect standings) Seniors Play begins after High School Season |
