Just to give you a written update on the Rams Subs for the 2009 season.
Subs for all working players will be £200 including £50.00 registration fee.
Subs for all unemployed and students (proof of status must be shown) will be £140.00 including the £50.00 registration fee.
This DOES NOT include transport to any of the away games - Coaches to away games will be charged separately and will be payable on the day.
Also note that Subs do not bear any correlation to games played - subs are payable regardless of how many games you do or can play; A significant amount of expense is incurred away from gameday in the hiring of facilities, providing necessary equipment etc. As a result the club will be implementing a payment plan as follows, with amounts falling due on the 1st Sunday of each month:
Workers Students and unemployed
£50 registration £50.00 registration
Registration fee to be paid when submitting registration forms current registration dates are 15.3.09 and 28.3.09.
+ £50 by 3.5.09 + £35 by 3.5.09
Total to be paid to allow you to play the first game £100 workers £ 85 students and unemployed
+ £30 by 7.6.09 + £15 by 7.6.09
+ £30 by 5.7.09 + £15 by 5.7.09
+ £40 by 2.8.09 + £25 by 2.8.09
It was agreed by those who attended and voted at the AGM that there will be no exceptions and no excuses, if you turn up for a game without being up to date with your subs then you will simply not play. There is a Cash Machine at the Garage at the bottom of the road before you get to Leeds Stadium, failing that, borrow the cash from a friend :-)
A significant cause of financial problems for the Rams has been due to players joining the Rams but then leaving after just a few games, without paying their full subs . Therefore anyone who joins the Rams who then decides to leave the club will be charged subs up to and including the next payment date in addition to a further £25 to cover commitments made on the back of the registered number of players, i.e. if you leave the club on the 26.6.09 - you will have to pay the club up to and including the payment due by 5.7.09, so that would be a total of £185.00 (worker) £130 (student or unemployed), to be debt free from the Rams. This is more relaxed than previous years whereby the full amount of subs would have been due in full and we hope that this is clearer for players, thereby avoiding disputes.
Any player who leaves the Club must notify BOTH the Head Coach (Orlando Weekes) and the Club Secretary (Clare Butterfield) - please ensure you receive a written response from the Club Secretary in acknowledgement of your departing the club, this acknowledgement will advise of any monies owing to the club and if the money is not paid, you will be put of a debtors list which will prevent you from joining any other club.
PLEASE NOTE SUBS (& generally any money whether for merchandise or coaches) CAN ONLY BE PAID TO CLARE BUTTERFIELD (Club Secretary), JUSTIN LESTER (Financial Director) OR MATT HARKIN (Players Rep) - A RECEIPT WILL BE GIVEN TO EACH PLAYER WHEN THEY PAY MONEY TO ANY OF THESE THREE PEOPLE - THIS WILL TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO WRITE OUT SO PLEASE BE PATIENT AND DO NOT LEAVE MAKING A PAYMENT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. NO MONIES SHOULD BE GIVEN TO ANY OTHER PERSON.
