Welcome to the Xenia Youth Athletic Association Website:
The mission of our organization is to teach and develop the fundamentals of yoth sports while providing a memorable, meaningful and rewarding experience for our children. Our belief is that the values learned in team sports like football cheerleading and dance will help develop a sense of community pride and good citizenship skills. This will be accomplished by not just teaching football, cheerleading and dance but by us mentoring our young people so that they learn more than just sports but also learn the life lessons that sports allows us to teach.
Our organization is currently comprised of 250 boys and 300 girls, 5 to 18 years of age in grades Kindergarten thru High School.
The Xenia Youth Athletic Association Wee Bucs organization has served our city for thirty plus years as a community based intramural league. As an organization, our goal for Xenia is to provide adequate facilities, safe equipment and the necessary training for all coaches and/or advisors so that we may complete our mission for the children within our program. The organization implemented changes to our organization so that we could join the Western Ohio Junior Football Conference (WOJFC). By joining the WOJFC our children will participate under the auspices of a common affiliate for elementary school districts in the Miami Valley area. This will allow our children a chance to be exposed to other communities and allow other communities to be exposed to us thus ending our cycle of isolationism in the City of Hospitality. The WOJFC has been in existence and growing for several years. As listed below.
Beavercreek Eager Beavers; Centerville Wee Elks; Fairborn Wee Hawks; Greenville Wave; Huber Heights Youth Warriors; Kettering Firebirds; Kettering Wildcats; Lebanon Youth Warriors; Mad River Tomahawks; Meadowdale Wee Lions; Miamisburg Wee Vikes; Northmont Wee Bolts; Springfield Broncos; Vandalia Wee Aviators; West Carrollton Wee Pirates.
