2002-03 Recap: Our First Season as a Club
For immediate release to all news outlets.
March 18, 2003

2002-03 has been a banner year for the X-Calibur FHC. From a fledgling club to a legend all in 12 months time. Like Arthur pulling the sword from the stone, we went to California for festival, over Thanksgiving 2002, and came home with two first place medals. Team Freedom in the H pool and team Braveheart in the coveted A pool. In the 2003 National Indoor Tournament team Lyoness, all U-12 players, took 4th place in the U-14 tournament and team Avalon, 3rd place. In the U-16s, team White Dragons took 3rd place:

"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging." - Hank Aaron
