Once again the time for indoor try-outs has come. The call goes out to all the land; “Come join us to test your skills to see if you have what it takes to become an athlete of the round table!” All try-outs will be held at 422 SportsPlex in Pottstown, Pa. The U-16 and the U-19 trials will have two open try-out opportunities. The first is on Saturday August 1st Times – U-16 6 to 8 PM, U-19 8 to 10 PM and the Second is on Saturday August 8th Times – U-16 6 to 8 PM, U-19 8 to 10 PM.
The cost for the Open try-outs is $30.00 if you pre-register before Monday 7/27 for the 8/1 date and before Monday 8/3 for the 8/8 date. Registration at the door will be $45.00. From these two try-outs a “call back” list will be created and sent out. Players not invited to the “call back” are invited to join the Academy program.
The call back date is Sunday August 23rd. U-16 will start play at 4:00 Pm till 6:00 Pm U-19 start at 6:00 till 8:00 PM Please arrive at least 30 minutes or more before all try out times to receive your try out number and check registration.
The U-14 U-12 U-10 trials will be held on two dates: Saturday September 12th and Saturday September 19th. Both will be held from 4 to 6 pm. Athletes may attend one or both of the try-outs. There will be no call back for the U-14/12/10 try-outs.
After the final try out for each age group, letters will be sent with-in two weeks to notify each player if they are being invited to join a travel team or the Academy program. The Academy program provides comprehensive technical and tactical instruction by the X-Calibur coaching staff, as well as additional playing experience, to any aspiring player, including many who play with other club teams.
